Tuesday Time to Tackle: Pioneer Trek Skirt

As I mentioned on Sunday, youngest daughter will soon be pushing a handcart in a pioneer re-enactment.  Of course, if you are going on a pioneer trek, you need to dress the part.  Corner House Blog has clear directions for a quick skirt, easily made in any size.

I still need to finish bloomers (easily made from pajama bottoms) and another skirt, but it feels good to have one skirt done.
Thanks for the amazing resource of the internet.

  2. Sweet! Will she have a bonnet too, and sensible leather shoes/boots like pioneer ladies would have? She'll wear those tennies out in a hurry!

  3. Are you and hubby going this year, too? I imagine you have your hands full with a reception to plan. Wish youngest daughter, Happy Trails, from us.
