Fudge, gingerbread, shortbread, candied nuts, caramel turtles, candy cane hearts. . . . I had a productive day in the kitchen yesterday. Now to move on to sewing!
I finally finished the quilt for my granddaughter:
I have some pajama pants to sew, and hope to avoid this problem:
Even in a gene pool of long torso, short legs, this is ridiculous! |
I think the most frustrating part of that project was the fact that I very consciously thought, "I need to make sure I'm sewing the right pieces together; I don't want to end up having to seam-rip."
Wish me luck! Pajama pants come together pretty quickly, as long as I follow the pattern.
Thanks for seam-rippers.
I've done that with pj bottoms too! I think it was tiredness, at midnight or something!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! I can't sew, so I have no right to make fun. I'm just curious how in the world did that happen? Oh, and nice work getting so much done in the kitchen and on the quilt. I'm sure your family will appreciate all of your hard work.
ReplyDeleteA sewing adventure would not be complete without the use of my seam ripper! Your quilt is beautiful! Belated Merry Christmas!
