Who can resist a cute baby?  Not me!

Routines give structure to my days, and help me prioritize my tasks.  However, my routines are built around the schedules of others.  When their schedules change, my routines change, too.  Now that it is summer, I need to re-evaluate my plans for my days. source   (Now if I can just find a sailor suit!)

Today's recipe comes as an answer to my youngest son's request for more crock pot recipes.  Cheesy Potato Soup is easy, delicious, and economical, too.

Lately, I feel like I'm being pulled in several different directions.  Everywhere I turn, I see something or someone that needs my attention.  

Family history research can seem daunting--after all, Grandma had a grandma, and she had a grandma, and so on, and so on.  The good news is that family history doesn't have to just be an endless quest for names and dates; family history comes alive with piecing together life stories, and the telling of the stories can occur bit by bit.

Recently, I've read a few posts on other blogs which answer the question, "Why do you blog?"  My very first blog post attempted to explain, but as time has passed, my purposes have become a bit clearer to me.  It's time for an updated answer. source
