Last year was our first successful garden here in the desert, but we don't go very big. It's easier purchasing the healthy seedlings from our local nursery. We should be able to start ours in late February. An Oasis in the Deserthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03775583025686145582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6085311167627297994.post-74810458052249295942013-01-22T11:19:26.550-07:002013-01-22T11:19:26.550-07:00I have never done seed planting. (Our one son proved this when he did a science experiment growing mold different ways. He couldn't get any to grow.) Of course, with a great set-up like yours, I'm sure we'd have better results!Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17209807996463889703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6085311167627297994.post-88289085223982120312013-01-22T10:28:43.956-07:002013-01-22T10:28:43.956-07:00We are talking about doing a garden this summer. LOL

I have my seeds ready and love to dream of gardens. I do grow herbs all winter long on my kitchen windowsill. Each year I think I might, but we have a wonderful nursery down the road, and for the price of a pack of seeds, I can get 6 tomato seedlings, ready to plant. Our garden is fairly small, and mostly planted in corn, so I don't mind spending a few bucks on seedlings for the tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, and cukes. It's so worth it to know he's done all the work of keeping the seedlings healthy (which I would fail at, I know!), and I get the benefit!

What do you plant, other than tomatoes?reganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14822110311373036914noreply@blogger.com
