My brother-in-law passed away yesterday, and my sister's frantic and painful phone call had me feeling helpless. They had been married for 27 years, but divorced last year, and his horrible family would not let her in the hospital room to even say her goodbyes! She was near hysterics, but we talked, we cried, and we figured out some plans, and she was stronger when we finished talking, but I still felt I wasn't doing enough for her in that moment.
