  2. I found violin so difficult. I think its the no frets thing... Where do I put my fingers? None the less such a glorious instrument!

    1. Me, too! With piano, what you play is what you get. With violin, just a slight shift of the finger can make your note go flat (or sharp). However, I also agree that the violin is a beautiful instrument! One of these days, I need to take mine out of its case and practice!

    1. You are right; it is a beautiful instrument in looks as well as in sound.

  4. Growing up I always wanted to learn to play the violin. I begged my mother for one but since she had hated practicing she was convinced that I would hate it and that it would be a waste of her money.

    1. I'm sorry. It's never too late, though! :-) I didn't study violin until my daughter did.

  5. My dad's dream has always been to play the violin. I was horrible at the flute and all music. Love this though.

  6. Valuable skill, playing the Violin. Personally haven't a musical bone in my body, but I admire those who can get music out of such a difficult instrument.
